• Orthophotography (orthophoto) with drones combines geometric properties containing a plane and detail and characteristics of aerial photographs. Our mosaics have a ground resolution of between 2.6 cm and 6 cm - depending on the height of flight and type of rectification.

  • Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and
  • Contours (standard 1m equidistance). High precision measurement of ground control points increase the resolution to about 5 cm (z-axis).

  • NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index). We use multispectral cameras that allow us to determine the NDVI. These cameras take digital photos of four different spectral ranges and at the same high resolution RGB images.




  • NDRE (Normalized Difference Red Edge) are more sensitive to changes in leaf chlorophyll content and provide information about plant nutrient status.

  • 3D terrain models for viewing three-dimensional screen and for printing it  with our 3D-Printer. (for example to print small terrain models).

  • Topographical survey with drones, flying over a target area and takeing photos. These are orthorectified and corrected with some accurate ground control points. The result is a map that is comparable with the precision of the traditional land topography.
    The terrain can also be displayed digitally in three dimensions and of course the contour lines and digital elevation model (DEM) is included. Drones Oaxaca collaborates with the company GeoNomad ( which has a long history in surveying, geomatics and aerial photography.

  • SIG (Sistemas de Información Geogáfica): We can help you in the field of GIS in your project. We have extensive experience in processing and proper interpretation of satellite images of the main sensors (Landasat, SPOT, Rapid Eye)
  • We utilize the program CLASlite to get the fractional coverage and forest cover to monitor forests.
  • The creation of NDVI (normalized index difference vegetation) and time series and anomalies using Landsat and MODIS.
